It Keeps on Giving
There’s a strong chance you read that title and perceived it to be sarcastic or facetious. I can’t blame you. Those are definitely two devices I employ regularly. However, I assure you that I meant them with 100% sincerity. Granted, the physical limitations and post-chemo mental fog aren’t necessarily wonderful. However, each day I realize that this awful fucking disease actually changed my life for the better and I feel so grateful for that.
