A few years back, I was interviewing WWE personality and all-around-good-dude, Titus O’Neil. He stopped by a Thanksgiving food drive where we were broadcasting our radio show. He has a truly incredible and inspirational life story, one I strongly suggest you read. Born of a young mom who was raped, he was labeled an at-risk youth, and the odds were against him. Since then, he has ascended to the heights of global stardom and uses his position to help others. His charity work is boundless. We were discussing how to fit so many charity requests into a busy schedule, and he told me about a book he read that spoke of the importance of saying “no” before reaching one’s breaking point. I finally embraced that philosophy this week.
