I’ll write more on this when I can, but the time spent since my last update has been quite dreadful. Beyond the usual post-chemo funk, I’ve been fighting low-and-high grade fevers. A little Tylenol here and there has kept it under control, but what was/is causing it? The fevers left me feeling awful, no energy, barely able to choke down a protein bar or shake to keep sustenance in my body. I expected this to be rough, and for a week straight…Transplant Round 2 has delivered as expected.

Know what carries the highest morbidity for fellow tandem patients like me? I do, because I research things that I probably shouldn’t. It’s pneumonia. Know why I can’t shake these fevers? You guessed it:
