I thought that this post was going to be about me being a reluctant Cat Daddy, but that will have to wait for a different day. As I was eating my oatmeal and drinking my coffee on the lanai, looking at Ruby (my cat), my mind was flooded with thoughts of the 5 cats that I’ve rescued. The pride and gratitude that I should have for saving Ruby (twice) from the Westchase Wilderness is counterbalanced by the annoyance she brings to my life with her early-morning tendencies/habits. Like I said, we’ll get to that in a future post. This post centers around this morning’s walk and the attached emotions and experiences that it brought. I find them to be impactful and damn near profound, and I hope that you will as well. At the very least, it should be a decent read…and unlike the previous two posts, this one will remain like the great Sheena Easton song from the James Bond film of the same name, For Your Eyes Only.
