More Opportunities for Good
You may remember that I wrote about the contract negotiations of one John Senning a while back. It was a somewhat stressful and emotional time for all parties involved, but it culminated in what everyone wanted: John staying on the radio and our show. I knew that my contract was due to expire at the end of 2023, and while it wasn’t something that brought me stress or anxiety, I did wonder how the process would go. Typically, even if there’s no back-and-forth about money (which, with me, there never is…I figure the company will offer me what they feel I’m worth, and I accept it), there’s a bit of posturing that can make the “talent” feel devalued or unappreciated.
