Would you trade the worst year of your life, health-wise, for the best year of your life, job-wise?
I wouldn’t, had someone given me the choice.
However, if you’re going to have your worst health year, with cancer raising its ugly and nefarious head, then I guess you might as well kick as much ass as you can at your job.
Before I got COVID back in July, I’d observe the other shows at our station that had to do their show in separate buildings, wondering how they held the chemistry together. The answer is, I guess you just “do.”
