Please allow me to precede this medical update with a request. I started this Substack as a way to both conquer the growing medical bills situation as well as to give myself an outlet, away from the radio, to come to terms with the volatility & intensity of fighting cancer. One of the reasons I put the in-depth stuff behind a paywall is so that I can have a better chance of only true supporters reading and responding to it. Anyone can read the free preview parts, but I’d kindly request that you keep it off the airwaves. Last week, someone with likely good intentions made mention of my scan and radioactivity on the show. Not the worst thing in the world, by far, but it made me uncomfortable as I still rely on the show to give me a respite from thinking about cancer and the various medical procedures and appointments I have to endure. So, I’ll be extra-certain to keep any and all details behind the paywall and hope that you’ll oblige me in keeping it on this page. Thanks!
