One of the predominant thoughts I’ve had since being diagnosed is how terrifying it must be for young men in their twenties and thirties who receive the awesome news that they have testicular cancer. It’s bad enough in one’s fifties when our worldview has expanded along with our waistlines. I can only imagine how gut-wrenching it must be to feel like you have your entire life in front of you when you get the news that you have a potentially fatal disease.
These thoughts led me to explore launching a foundation for testicular cancer.
