Good morning from Moffitt, where it feels like I’ve spent most of 2022. Last night’s in-room dining experience was surprisingly good. Previously, I’d steered clear of the pot roast, as that seemed a bit ambitious for an institutionalized dining experience. Well, my curiosity finally got the best of me and I threw caution to the wind! It ranked below my Sarah’s Mississippi Pot Roast (obviously) but was as good as I remember the pot roast that mom forced us to eat! I have found the joy in the littlest of things, and this hospital experience has allowed me to reconnect with my fondness for Orange sherbet. I’ve ordered it the past 2 nights and marveled at just how refreshing it is. I’ll be Instacarting some Flintstone Push Up Pops, pronto!
