Nah it’s only right given all you’ve done for your listeners, community and supporters. You’ve made me feel things when I was numb, laugh when I really wanted to cry. I’m happy to be able to give a little back. I gotchhuuu, my friend 😉 Clearly many people feel the same 💛
Drew, I think my comment sounds like a broken record at this point, but you've brought me joy and been there through the worst times in my life (intense bouts of depression in my 20s, the death of my grandmother, and the death of my father [literally while driving to the LRMC to see my dad with the chaplain and my mom after he had passed back in 2018, my husband put your show on in the car for me...in a full circle kind of way, when I left the hospital after my grandma passed in 1999 back in the RR days, my dad put your show on in his car for me]) and you didn't even know it.
So...if my husband and I can, in some small way as fans who don't know you personally, bring you some comfort and joy by being here, then I hope we do just that. In the meantime, you'll be on our minds as you navigate this, and we'll be reading your journey and cheering you on.
Lawd help me….I’m 45 years young and probably already missed what I’m supposed to have gotten….but, donation is recurring and happy to help. We met at Pinellas Hope when, as the Director, I invited you to spend Thanksgiving with us. It meant so much to me , my team and the residents that you were open, giving and loving. I was a fan of the personality before the invite, but became a fan of the “person” after that visit and subsequent charity opportunities, community events, etc. life happens to all of us at different speeds and directions….you’ve got a tribe in all directions with a hand to hold or an ear to listen….you are loved
Been listening since the overnights. After all these decades, you're still one of the few people in radio who can make me laugh so hard I can’t get the air in my lungs to make the sound of laughter. And you’ve evolved into a poignant social commentator along the way.
And now, though the situation that precipitated it is a shitty one, it’s good to see you come correct on the keyboard as well as the microphone.
Love you Drew!🥰

I'm so glad you have a great support system around you! And if that platform provides further support, I'm glad to be a part of it. <3
Such an amazing selfless soul....Godspeed
