Never a Straight Line

So, when we last left off, I was scheduled for an appointment with an ENT surgeon at Moffitt so that I could schedule the extraction of the superclavicular lymph node and we’d ideally get a decent idea of what the lymph nodes in my abdomen (retroperitoneal area) were all about. They’re the only things showing up with a concerning color on my scans, and we want to make sure that they’re either not metastatic or they can be removed through (a very extensive) surgery.

That was the plan.
