I’m 23 days old today! As I approach the 30-day landmark, I can feel things improving and progressing. At 30 days, I can start being around small groups of people and (hopefully) return to work. Hair growth should occur around the 3-month mark, but I have some delightfully-stubborn stubble on my dome that seemed to outlast the chemo. I’m interested to see how and if it will grow into something. All in all, the more that chemo is behind me, the better I feel and the closer to “normal” I seem to get. I’m not going to start taking unnecessary chances or pushing myself beyond my limits, but I’m also not going to allow this disease and its ensuing treatments control my life any more than they already have.
