Fuck This Disease

I haven’t said anything on the show or written anything on social media about it, but my mom has been in the hospital all week. She’s been scanned, tested, poked, and prodded, and as of this very moment…they’re still not quite sure what’s going on. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s an infection brought on by chemotherapy. When that poisonous shit goes into our bodies, it destroys everything. This is good in that the cancer cells are demolished, but bad in that everything else is. That leaves us vulnerable as hell to infections.

I remember when they couldn’t figure out what kind of infection was in my gut.
